Health Help Now is time and location sensitive, which means that whatever time of day or night and wherever the user is, the user can see where their nearest service is and what the opening hours are. Users can find details of services such as their GP practice, nearest pharmacy, walk-in-centre, and minor injuries unit to name a few. The web-app also gives phone numbers to a range of helplines, such as DentaLine, the Dementia Helpline and HopeLineUK, for teenagers with suicidal thoughts.

As you are probably aware the NHS is changing and GP’s and Patients are being encouraged to work together to redesign services and pathways to allow more cost effective care, closer to home.


 


KMP has been at the forefront of such service redesign and have developed in house expertise and Consultant led clinics to allow greater patient choice.


This brief note has been handed to you at the time of your referral to ensure you are clear that KMP (as an NHS provider) has a commercial interest in the provision of such services, in exactly the same way that the local hospital trust has always contracted with the NHS to provide services.


 


If after reading this you require more information or would like to reconsider the options for your referral, please speak to your doctor or alternatively contact our Practice Manager, Ms Nicola Flisher who will be happy to answer your queries.
